The Student Council of the College of Arts and Sciences of the University of Tokyo is preparing measures to make sure students would be given needed aid when they are suspected to be infected with novel coronavirus and miss examinations, and thus avoid spreading infection to the other students. As a result of our request to the College, students who are infected with coronavirus or came back from China within 14 days can now consult the College in case they cannot take the examinations. The Student Council independently drew up steps that students suspected to be infected with novel coronavirus can currently take, so please consider using the information.

- Check the official statements from the College
The official announcements from the College are posted on “News” (for the Junior Division) on the College’s website. Please make sure to check the latest official information from the College. This webpage was written referring to “Responding to infectious disease outbreak of the novel coronavirus” (2020. 1. 31).
- Contact the College
When missing examinations due to suspected infection with novel coronavirus, consult the office of the College of Arts and Sciences, where students in the Junior Division belong, promptly. Students in the Junior Division can call the Student Support Division (TEL: 03-5454-6074), the help desk of the office for students. The phone assistance service is open from 9:00 A.M. to 4:50 P.M. on weekdays. The Council recommend contacting professors of each subject via email as well as the office of the College. It is because by email, you can contact them before the time when they start accepting telephone calls, and because you can certainly prove that you contacted them.
