This is the Policy Bureau of the Jichikai.
The Jichikai will launch the International Communication Committee (ICC) from the 2024 academic year to address the issues of reducing the gap between international students and the general student population and to address issues in university dormitories where international students live.

Initiatives
The ICC will take the following actions:
1. Efforts to improve the services provided to international students by student-run organizations, including the Jichikai
2. Efforts to reduce the information gap between international students and the general student population
3. Efforts to solve any problems that occur in university dormitories where international students live. In addition, committee members are encouraged to come up with a variety of projects. If you have ideas for solving problems related to international students, please feel free to participate

Activity Compensation Fee
We understand that there are those who may have concerns about balancing their part-time jobs and club activities, therefore, as a compensation for the time and effort, committee members are provided with a ¥1,015/hour activity allowance. In addition, we are planning to adopt a teleworking system, so those who are unable to come to Komaba frequently will not have any major obstacles in participating.

About the Selection Process
The number of applicants will be limited to approximately 10. In the event that the number of applicants greatly exceeds the limit, we may select applicants based on whether or not they live in student housing where international students reside. We hope for your kind understanding. If you are interested in joining, please sign up using the form below
